Social Responsibility And Poverty Reduction

One of the Global Millennium Development Goal is Poverty Reduction. Ten years ago ACORD embarked upon a Pilot testing Model to lift poor women & their families above the poverty line; on a sustainable basis. This has been achieved successfully by ACORD in the Bharatpur District of Rajasthan and about one thousand families have sustained their living standards.

ACORD’s Consultancy services on corporate social responsibilities have been used by companies such as Gujarat Ambuja Cement, Indo-Gulf Fertilizers Ltd & IFFCO.
